Return & Refund Policy
Overview
Monumental Costumes is a theatrical costume rental company, not a retail seller. All items made available through our website are rented for a defined rental period and must be returned according to the terms outlined below. Because items are rented – not purchased – refunds are not offered. The exception to this statemtn is our selection of “expendable” supplies (i.e. hangars, onion bags) which are not returnable, and all sales are final.
Rental Items
All costumes and accessories listed on our website are offered on a rental-only basis. Ownership of all items remains with Monumental Costumes at all times.
Rental fees cover:

Temporary use of the item for the agreed rental period

Standard wear associated with normal use

Professional cleaning after return
Returns
All rented items must be returned by the agreed-upon return date specified at checkout or in your rental agreement.

Items must be returned in substantially the same condition as received, excluding normal wear.

Late returns may be subject to additional fees.

Items that are damaged beyond normal wear, altered, or not returned may incur replacement or repair charges.
Return instructions are provided at the time of rental.
Refund Policy
Because all transactions are rentals and not purchases:

We do not offer refunds for rental fees once an order has been processed.

Change of mind

Event cancellation

Improper fit

Failure to use the rented item

We strongly recommend reviewing sizing, rental dates, and item descriptions carefully before completing your rental.
Incorrect or Damaged Items
If you receive an item that is incorrect or unusable due to damage upon arrival, please contact us immediately at costumes@monumentalstudios.com and include photos where applicable.
We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include:

A replacement rental (subject to availability), or

Another appropriate resolution at our discretion
Cancellations
Cancellation policies, if applicable, are outlined during checkout or in your rental agreement. Once a rental order has entered fulfillment, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
